The Lodge

Yokosuka Lodge was the first lodge established in Japan after World War II, receiving charter number 120 from the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines on 15 April 1948.

At the 207th Stated Meeting of Yokosuka Lodge held on June 7, 1965, it was the unanimous vote of the members present to petition the Grand Lodge of Japan for a charter. This was granted at the Special Communications of the Grand Lodge of Japan on June 25, 1965. Thus Yokosuka Lodge of the Philippines became Yokosuka Lodge No. 20, under the jurisdiction of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Japan.
