Special Meeting of May 25th 6008
Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 9:14PM Yokosuka Lodge #20 opened in due and ancient form on May 25th @ 1830 for conducting business. After opening, the Lodge went free from Restraint to present a set of 5 Camping tents to Ikego Boy Scout Troop #13 BSA, Far East Council. Accepting for the Troop was the Scoutmasters, and several of the Scouts. Please see the photos title Ikego BSA Troop 13 for a quick shot of the Brethren and the Scouts.
After the Scouts left, the lodge returned to its business for the evening, that of Bro. (EAM) Chris Ayers return of the 1st degree Proficiency.
Our JW, Brother Ramone San Augustine conducted the proficiency from West of the Alter and although a little "rusty" He and Bro. Ayers (EAM) showed how brothers should work, with as WB Earl mentioned "a very good return". Brother Roy Rommelman who was sitting in the East pronounced Bro. Ayers (EAM) proficient in the 1st Degree. Bro. (EAM) Ayers Passing to the 2nd degree is still pending scheduling.
Brother Felipe Tubera who was scheduled to transfer to another duty station met his brethren in his mother lodge for the last time prior to tranferring. He had several positive comments for Bro Chris Ayers (EAM) and instructed him to keep working hard. The lodge closed waws closed by Brother Tubera in due and ancient form at approximately 1945. A very delicious meal was enjoyed by all, courtesy of our Brother JW, Ramone San Augustine and Bro. Chris Ayers (EAM). Needless to say we all need watch our weight until next week!
